How scores are calculated
Each site is scanned for 30+ signals across nine categories: indexing, metadata, social cards, structured data, AEO (llms.txt, ai.txt, AI crawler stance, FAQ/HowTo schema), international, mobile, security headers, and Core Web Vitals.
The AEO score weights the signals that specifically influence whether AI engines can cite a page — llms.txt presence, AI crawler allowance in robots.txt, and citation-friendly structured data like FAQPage and Author schema.
